Freddie Gary, Sr. understands the value
of hard work. Born to sharecroppers, he grew up working the
bug-infested fields of the south. It didn't take long for him to
realize that education was his ticket out. Upon earning his Master's
Degree from North Carolina Central in Durham, NC and a BS from Shaw
University in Raleigh, N.C., Freddie Gary set out to make his mark.
After years of learning his trade, he
started the Gary Financial Group, offering his customers the very
best in insurance, risk management and tax strategies - through a
top-notch team of professionals with a combined 35 years of
experience.
Through it all, Freddie Gary finds time
to give back. He serves on numerous youth organizations - including
The Gary Foundation, a non-profit organization started by his family
in 1994 to provide scholarships and other educational assistance to
at-risk students who dream of one day attending college. Gary
Financial is a loyal supporter of The Gary Foundation's annual
Willie E. Gary Celebrity Weekend, during which celebrities and
businesspeople from throughout the country converge on Stuart, FL
for a weekend of fun and entertainment. Gary Financial kicks off the
weekend by hosting its annual Celebrity Boat Cruise. Freddie Gary
and his staff also sponsor and help organize the annual Willie E.
Gary Celebrity Golf Classic, which raises hundreds of thousands of
dollars each year for scholarships.
